Sander Renes

I am an Assistant Professor in the Economics of Technology and Innovation section at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management, TU Delft.

My research focuses on institutional design—the rules of the game and how to use them to improve the group outcomes. I use both theoretical and empirical methods to find and test solutions in markets, auctions, committees, and decision-making procedures. I co-founded IBEX, TU Delft's behavioral experiments lab.

I hold degrees in Economics (Ph.D., Erasmus University Rotterdam, Tinbergen Institute) and Law (LL.M., Erasmus University Rotterdam).
